How we beat the Beavs? It's on the fans

Need all the help we can get tomorrow against the Beavers. Oregon State comes into tomorrow's game inexplicably ranked #7 in the latest BCS rankings after starting the season 6-0. Quite possibly the biggest surprise of this college football season, the Beavers have remained unbeaten after hosting Wisconsin and beating BYU on the road in Provo. A win on the road against Arizona has looked good or bad depending on the week, and that's about it for big wins. Outside of those three wins, this team may be the most overrated of any team in the country. In fact, if you measure this team up against any other in the top 10, you would have to wonder why Oregon State is even there to begin with. Yes, going 6-0 is not an easy thing, even with Oregon State's relatively easy early slate. The real test, I think, begins with UW at the CLink tomorrow. Last time the Beavers came into Husky territory it left Husky Stadium with its tail between its legs after failing to convert a two point conversion, unnecessarily, in overtime.
I believe this Oregon State team is better than projected, in fact, I had the Huskies beating the Beavers before the season began, and although they are now a top 10 team, I still think the Huskies hold the advantage being at home. The crazy part, the Huskies may find themselves with two top-10 wins near the end of October with a 4-4 record. Remind you of any other Pac-12 team in the last decade that has played mediocre football unless it plays a top team in October....? (OR St. if you didn't guess)

Sean Mannion is back after sitting out the last few weeks with an injury, and he will be looking to get back on track in the Pac-12 top QB race, which is surprisingly wide open with Matt Barkley, Keith Price and both of the Coug QB's struggling so far this year. The Beavers are pretty balanced playing good football on both sides of the ball. But I still think this team is a couple years away from accomplishing what they are currently accomplishing (irony acknowledged). Oregon State will be really good in the next couple of years, especially since Stanford looks to be on its way out and Oregon will be sanctioned pretty soon. I just don't think this is their year and I envision a 9-3 record to finish the year, which isn't terrible, but also will not put them in a BCS bowl losing 3 of the last 6 games.

What will help the Huskies win?!?!?!? YOU!!!!!!! Come to the freaking game. The Huskies have been disappointing, yes, but, that doesn't mean we give up on them. UW can easily win this game and will if it has a strong fan base behind them. I know it's supposed to be rainy, and I know you all want to show up awkwardly early to your Halloween party wearing some variation of a Batman, Psy (Korean Gangnam Style guy) or Mitt Romney costume, but, please, be there for the team and lets rush the field.....again.

Go Dawgs!!!
